Lee & Tonya Wilson

With over 35 years of multi-generational ministry experience, Lead Pastor Lee and his wife Tonya have dedicated their lives to equipping and discipling others through the local church.

Born and raised right here in Houston, Lee answered the call to ministry at just 16 years old, setting him on a lifelong journey of serving and leading in churches across the nation. Along the way, he and Tonya built both a life and a ministry deeply rooted in faith, family, and their love for the local church.

The Wilsons met, married, and began their ministry right here in Houston, and after 35 years of marriage, their passion for building the Church and empowering people to live on purpose is stronger than ever. Now, they're returning to their hometown with Purpose Church Houston - a church committed to helping every person discover that every story matters, and every story has a purpose.

Every story matters because every story has a purpose — including yours. At Purpose Church Houston, we believe God has uniquely created every person to make an impact, and no story is wasted in His hands.

We’re building a multi-generational community where faith, culture, and purpose come together. Rooted in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit, we’re creating a space where people can grow in faith, build real relationships, and step boldly into the purpose God has for them.

As we plant Purpose Church Houston, our desire is to build a church that reflects the heart of this city — diverse, vibrant, and full of hope for what God can do through every story.
